If one health insurance plan were right for everyone, you’d have no need to research and compare plans. But that’s not the case. And Original Medicare is not your only option for health care coverage. Fortunately, you do have choices. There are a variety of plans available from private organizations like insurance companies designed to help you.

Premera Blue Cross is an HMO plan with a Medicare contract. Enrollment in Premera Blue Cross depends on contract renewal. This information is not a complete description of benefits. Contact the plan for more information. Limitations, copayments and restrictions may apply. Benefits, premium, and/or copayments/coinsurance may change on January 1 of each year. The formulary, pharmacy network, and provider network may change at any time. You will receive notice when necessary. You must continue to pay your Medicare Part B premium. To join a Premera Blue Cross Medicare Advantage Plan, you must have Medicare Part A and Part B and live in the Premera Blue Cross Medicare Advantage service area (King, Pierce, Snohomish, Spokane, and Thurston counties in Washington). Members must select a Primary Care Provider (PCP) from the Premera Blue Cross Medicare Advantage Plans provider network. For sales events, a salesperson will be present with information and applications.
